Testimonials
“Talese taught me so much about not only fashion, but also translating ideas in my head into ideas that I could put on paper. Overall, the class was a great experience that helped me to feel more confident and prepared in other fashion workshops. I'm so glad that I got the opportunity to work with Talese and I know that what she taught me will continue to help me for years to come!”
–Sam, Age 16
“In my classes with Talese, I learned so much about the fashion industry. Specifically I learned about mood boards, look books, technical flats and croquis. I also learned about fabric types and how a garment goes from being someone’s idea to being something I can buy in a shop. I also learned about the things that have to happen in order to sell that garment like what is involved with a photoshoot and marketing. I learned about how a designer may set up their company and much more.
I am taking classes from Talese in order to prepare myself for Fashion Design School and to try and figure out what will be expected of me. Each time I go to class I feel closer to reaching my goal of becoming a fashion designer and get more excited by the idea.” –Colleen, Age 15
“Talese is able to help students focus their energy and creativity in new and authentic directions, assisting with discovery and expression of their "original voices". It's always a delight to have Talese visit our program, as she brings positive energy, lots of creative insights, ideas for keeping the high school program "industry-ready" and the students really respond to her gentle manner, helpful suggestions and warm enthusiasm.”

“I have experienced being in many types of fashion and art classes. But overall I feel that Talese's classes fully go over all the different aspects of art and fashion. Talese not only goes over the creative process of fashion and art but also reveals the history of each subject. Though I have also experienced other illustration camps I have never had a teacher who once was a designer. For the ones that want to become a successful designer I highly recommend for you to work with Talese and ask her for advice. And for the ones who just want to experience fashion for fun (like me), you will have more than fun, time will fly by so fast. Talese is a wonderful teacher, friend, and person.” –Nakisa, Age 14
